Tom and Chris go way back. From a young
age, the both of them designed video games. Well, as best could be
designed with pads of paper. Then came Computer Science class around
grade 10. Tom and Chris would sit around and design pointless
programs all day (Some of which include: Random Number Generator,
Total War and Desolation). The
small graphical units in Total War were designed by none other than
Adam. Tom designed Massive Tings, this time
without Chris' help. In the fall of 2002, Chris and Tom embarked on
the creation of a new game titled Godly Kingdom Wars. It started out
with Tom wondering how to hell to make PHP work (it's still pretty
much like that now) and eventually after many hours of work, he had
created a login script. Over the next weeks, the game was formed
into...well, nothing.
Eventually, work on
the game ceased in December of 2002. It was almost a year before Tom
decided that to shut Chris up (nag nag nag) he would begin work on
GKW again. From around December 3rd 2003 to now, the game has
transformed. Many have given much praise to the game for its speed
in development and dedication of the staff. We're not sure why. In
fact, the driving force behind GKW is the fact that Tom and Chris
rarely agree on anything. This is the reason why Tom and Chris work
on different areas of the game and they only cross paths to vent
about people cheating.
With that said, we hope you
enjoy playing it. And we'll take any critiques you might want to
send our way.

Email Tom if you have bugs
(messaging Tom or Chris in-game works better) to report or have any
questions regarding the website or the game in general.

Chris is the "idea guy". He
does things like the balancing of the different races and designing
new ones. Email Chris regarding that stuff.
Mac McPherson - mac.mcpherson@gmail.com - Tried learning php.. yeah that won't
work so now I'm learning to use css and am starting to make pretty
things like this page. Anyways e-mail me if you have any ideas,
tips, or
comments of any sort about the design of the pages. Eventually there
will be more don't worry. |
